My Little 5 Month Old

I can't believe my tiny little baby is already 5 months old! She is the 2nd best thing that has ever happened to me. I feel so grateful to have her in our family. She is loved and adored by everyone that meets and sees her. I cannot tell you how many times people have stopped me and told me what a beautiful baby she is and how happy she is. She is easy going and VERY cuddly, which Aaron and I both love. She doesn't try and squirm away from us, i think she has just embraced the cuddles that are consistantly given. I love her so much and she has truly blessed us with her presence.

Splish Splash

This girl LOVES bathtime! She could stay in there forever,I think. Everytime she is in her bath, she kicks her legs and loves to splash. She always has a big smile on her face the whole time. By the end of bathtime, I am all wet! We have her covered; for the sake  future embarrassment.

#1 Fan

Do you know what it feels like to be someone's favorite person? So...what qualifies someone as a favorite person?
-Everytime they see you, a HUGE smile comes right across their face.
-The things you say;no matter tone, words, or voice pitch... they love it all and laugh
-They listen smile when you sing(even if you don't have the best singing voice).
-No matter what you are doing or where you are going; they go along for the ride and enjoy every second.
-They love just to be around you
As I write this, I realize the great resposibility and example that I need to set for not just June, but my future little ones as well. As she watches my every move and spends all her time with me, I need to be sure I am doing everything I can to make the right choices, so she can make the right choices in the years to come.
"Mothers who know do less. They permit less of what will not bear good fruit eternally. They allow less media in their homes, less distraction, less activity that draws their children away from their home. Mothers who know are willing to live on less and consume less of the world’s goods in order to spend more time with their children—more time eating together, more time working together, more time reading together, more time talking, laughing, singing, and exemplifying. These mothers choose carefully and do not try to choose it all. Their goal is to prepare a rising generation of children who will take the gospel of Jesus Christ into the entire world. Their goal is to prepare future fathers and mothers who will be builders of the Lord’s kingdom for the next 50 years. That is influence; that is power" -Julie B. Beck
